NESTLED IN HISTORY

Nestled in the heart of South Carolina's Lowcountry,

Cotton Hall has quickly become one of the region's most

sought-after wedding and event venues since opening in 2020. Centrally located in Yemassee, South Carolina, we are perfectly positioned between Charleston, Beaufort, and Savannah. Just off the historic Old Sheldon Church Road—an area steeped in revolutionary history and Civil War heritage—our property carries a timeless charm and deep-rooted legacy.

Originally part of the Tomotley Barony, granted by the King of England in 1773, Cotton Hall's grounds are rich with history. While the original antebellum house is no longer standing, majestic live oaks still mark its original site, preserving the spirit of the past.

Today, Cotton Hall stands as a premier destination for weddings and events, boasting an impressive Georgian-style main house built in the late 1920s. The property is set against a backdrop of a sweeping avenue of oaks, providing a breathtaking setting that captures the essence of Southern elegance and romance.

Whether you're celebrating your special day, hosting an unforgettable event, or enjoying a tranquil retreat at our bed and breakfast, Cotton Hall is the starting place for countless new adventures. With a legacy rooted in history and a future filled with cherished memories, we are honored to share this remarkable property with you.

The Live Oak trees located on Cotton Hall drapped with Spanish Moss. The Tree branches hang low almost touching the ground.
